selah ella is proud to be a november scorpio. a reader for as long as she can remember, she’s always loved stories. when life got to life-ing during those crucial pre-adolescent years, she turned to storytelling as a way to process and make sense of things out of her control. it became a form of necessary therapy and the life-line to which she so desperately clung when hormones raged, when boys didn’t like her back, her parents were too prideful to get a divorce, and her identity as a young, Black girl in the american south felt like such a silo.

since then, writing short stories, offering slice of life commentary in select online publications, and a pro at hoarding half-baked novel ideas, selah is an almost 20 year veteran in fandom spaces contributing fanfiction, complex meta, and generally good fan vibes. if you know the right usernames and embarrassing fandoms, you may be able to suss out her since-deleted works on the wayback machine (that’s not a challenge pls), but she’s since turned her focus to crafting her own ‘verses and building dynamic worlds within them.

summer of 2023, she wolf editing was born. she offers services as a beta reader, developmental editor, and authenticity reader. expect more information to come!
